Acacia parramattensis

Acacia parramattensis grows to about 8m high, in woodland on dry shallow sandy or clay soils.

The dark green bipinnate leaves of Acacia parramattensis are very finely divided, with 20-35 pairs of pinnules, 3-5mm long. A distinguishing feature is the presence of glands at the base of each leaf division.

The globular flowers are pale yellow.

Acacia parramattensis flowers from October to February, later than Acacia decurrens, a very similar wattle.
