Logania albiflora

Logania albiflora is a graceful shrub about 1.5 - 2 m high, found in forest on sandstone, preferring sheltered sites.

Leaves are very variable in shape, from long and thin (about 5 cm x 20mm) as shown, to long and about 1 cm wide, to 1cm wide x about 2 cm long. In all variants of Logania albiflora, the leaves are opposite and hairless, with square stems. They are olive green above and pale on the underside.

The numerous tiny white flowers grow in the leaf axils in small racemes. They are very sweet scented, especially in moist conditions.

Logania albiflora flowers from August to November.
