Persoonia lanceolata
Lance-leaf Geebung
Family: Proteaceae
Persoonia lanceolata is an erect, bushy shrub to 2m in the open forest and sandy soils of Lane Cove National Park, although on coastal sand dunes it can be compact.
The flat, stiff leaves are bright green, like those of all Persoonias, and can have a yellowish tinge. They are lance-shaped, 3-7cm long, 1-2cm wide, with a distinct tip.
The flowers are bright yellow and are borne in the leaf axils on very short stalks.
Persoonia lanceolata flowers most of the year, but mainly in summer.
