Scaevola ramosissima is a common herbaceous climber, found in dry sites in woodland or open heath on sandstone.
The stalkless thickish leaves are toothed, 2-5cm long and covered in stiff hairs, as is the straggling stem, 50-100cm long.
The fan-shaped mauve-purple flowers have 5 lobes.
Ramosissima is Latin for much branched.
Scaevola ramosissima flowers November to February.
