Trevor Evans the Assistant Minister for Environmental Management in the Federal Government (and one of our youngest members of parliament) visited Lane Cove National Park today. He came along with John Alexander the member for Bennelong to have a look at one of the sites that had been awarded a Community Environment Grant. they were met by an enthusiastic group of Friends who showed them around, talked about the project and explained that grant funding and bush regeneration projects needed to be viewed as long term activities.

Explaining some of the finer points of the project with the display on Friends bushcare trailer.
